The Related Products feature identifies a product’s traffic sources by analyzing which ASINs have been exposed in the related sections of its detail page over the past 30 days.
For example, if ASIN B0CYLVXD85 appears in the 'Frequently bought together' ad section on the detail page of B09MFMCTRK:
Then B0CYLVXD85 is considered a related ASIN of B09MFMCTRK and will be displayed under its Related ASINs.
When performing a bulk search for multiple ASINs, the Related ASINs feature can show which specific variants are linked to each related product.
For instance, if you input four ASINs — ASIN1, ASIN2, ASIN3, ASIN4 — into the search box:
- If Product X’s related section shows both ASIN1 and ASIN2, its Related ASIN count will be 2.
- If Product Y’s related section shows only ASIN3, its Related ASIN count will be 1.
Using B07MHHM31K as an example:
- After entering the ASIN, you can either select 'Related Products from All Variations' or manually input all variation ASINs under the same listing. The system will then display all related products across the 16 variants, merging and de-duplicating results.
ASIN B08JLYRZG5 appears in the results, so it indicates that it has a related connection with one or more of the queried ASINs.
Specifically, the related ASINs from the query are: B0DKH8RXV2, B086MCNQMS and B0DKHDPSSP.
This means that on the detail page of B08JLYRZG5, these three ASINs were exposed in the related sections within the past 30 days, so the Related ASIN count is 3.
The larger the Related ASIN count, the more variants from your listing were exposed on the related ASIN’s detail page — increasing potential traffic sources.
By sorting the search results in descending order based on the Related ASIN count, you can quickly identify which products bring the most traffic opportunities to your multi-variant listings.
