What Is Keepa AI Insights?

Keepa AI Insights combines Keepa's historical data with DeepSeek to automatically interpret complex charts — including price, sales rank, and rating — into human-readable, actionable insights. It helps you visualize a product’s lifecycle and decode its core strategies, like discount timing, competitive positioning, and promotional triggers behind sales spikes.

Report Structure & Interpretation

Each AI report includes a detailed breakdown of product performance across 8 key modules + actionable summary. Here's how to understand them:

Module 1: Key Milestones

  • What's covered: First seen date, first order, first review, and anomalies.

  • Helps you identify launch timeline and key growth moments. Sudden spikes may signal promotions or influencer pushes.

Module 2: Review Growth Curve

  • Tracks rating volume over time and flags abnormal spikes.

  • Helps you assess review strategies, detect inorganic growth, and evaluate overall product reputation.

Modules 3 & 5: Pricing Strategy

  • Breaks down price changes, deal timings, and psychological pricing.

  • See how pricing moves impact BSR or conversions.

Module 4: Stockouts & Recovery

  • Detects when the product went out of stock and how long it took to recover.

  • Evaluate inventory stability and supply chain issues.

Module 5: Hijacker Defense

  • Shows when hijackers appeared and how the brand responded (e.g., pricing defense, brand registry tools).

  • Helps you assess a competitor’s brand protection strategy.

Module 6: BSR Attribution

  • Correlates ranking shifts with events like pricing changes, review growth, or ad campaigns.

Module 7: Variation & Seasonality Trends

  • Detects seasonal spikes and top-selling variations.

  • Useful for planning stock, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.

Module 8: Lifecycle Evaluation

  • Classifies the product as New → Growth → Maturity → Decline.

  • Informs launch decisions or exit timing.

Module 9: Overall Summary & Recommendations

  • Wraps up insights with clear takeaways and suggested next steps — whether it’s launch, optimization, or competitive repositioning.

Note: If the ASIN has been active for over 1.5 years, the system may truncate historical data to focus on the first 6 months post-launch and the most recent 12 months. A notice of data truncation will be included in the report.
